About

Hadia Shaikh specializes in curating thematic exhibitions and programs that foster meaningful dialogue and inspire change. With a focus on amplifying the voices of contemporary artists, Hadia is dedicated to utilizing art as a tool for societal transformation—aiming to create a safer and more sustainable world and communities through creativity and innovation.

Relocating to the United States from Hyderabad, Pakistan, at a young age, Hadia brings a transnational perspective to her curatorial practice and a diverse interest in global contemporary art. She earned her BA in Art History from Herron School of Art and Design at Indiana University - Indianapolis and her MA in Museum  Studies from Indiana University School of Liberal Arts. 

Hadia has contributed to institutions such as the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art, The Children's Museum of  Indianapolis, Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago,  The Block Museum of Art, Northwestern University, and Denver Art Museum. Currently, Hadia is based in Denver, Colorado.
