Hadia Shaikh is a contemporary art curator and writer dedicated to using art as a catalyst for storytelling, community connection, and meaningful dialogue. Her curatorial approach is grounded in rigorous research, close collaboration, and thoughtful engagement with artists and communities, with a particular interest in creating spaces that encourage diverse perspectives and meaningful exchange.

Drawing from her South Asian background and a transnational perspective, Hadia’s work engages with global contemporary art and the cultural, social, and political contexts that shape artistic practice. She is interested in how exhibitions can create opportunities for connection, challenge established narratives, and expand the ways audiences encounter and understand contemporary art.

Hadia holds a BA in Art History from the Herron School of Art and Design and an MA in Museum Studies from Indiana University. She is currently based in Denver, Colorado, where she serves as Curatorial Assistant for Modern and Contemporary Art and Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art. Alongside her museum work, she is an independent art curator and writer.
